Finished painting a intake manifold and valve covers with alclad black lacquer and then a few coats of alclad chrome. Intake turned out great but on the top of the valve covers it is splotchy in some areas so my question is should i lightly sand them down and reshoot with a few more coats of chrome or just reshoot them without sanding them.
